He talked about his journey as a deaf footballer from overcoming barriers from when he was younger, to now representing England at major tournaments. He also taught the children some BSL.

We Will Remember Them

This week we have learnt about Remembrance Day. We have made poppies and had a special assembly with Father Geoffrey to remind us of all of those who have been injured  and fought in wars for us.

We all enjoyed a visit to the park  to watch the planting of an oak tree to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee along with members of the Parish Council, local community and Lee Rowley, MP. The children gathered round as the tree was planted and some were chosen to help fill the hole. It was a lovely morning and one which I hope the children will remember in years to come.
